Mitsubishi is shrugging off the recent scoops of their new Pajero Sport that was caught shooting a commercial earlier this week, as if it never happened, with a new teaser video.
Frankly, the only thing we haven’t seen before are the 2016 Pajero Sport’s LED daytime running lights that are incorporated into the headlamps and the fancy looking tear-drop LEDs on the tail lamps that drip into the rear bumper.
Not to be confused with Mitsubishi’s regular Pajero lineup of three- and five-door full-size SUVs (see here), the Pajero Sport, otherwise known as the Challenger, Montero Sport, Nativa and Pajero Dakar in other markets around the globe, is a rugged SUV based on the firm’s latest L200 pickup truck – just like Toyota’s competing Fortuner is built on the Hilux.
We’ll have the chance to see it in the flesh at Thailand’s Bangkok International Grand Motor Sale on August 1.
