As if you needed another reason to be suspicious of seagulls, a feathered fiend decided to troll Turkish drivers by walking across instead of flying over Istanbul’s Mecidiyeköy D-100 highway causing multiple collisions.
Upon seeing the seagull walking on the road without a care in the world, one of the drivers slammed on the brakes. Being that it was 7 o’clock in the morning, there was plenty of traffic, and eight cars ended up crashing behind him.
Turkey’s Daily Sabah reported that as a result of the accident, a taxi driver was injured and taken to the hospital.
As for the seagull, well, after the near-death experience, the bird finally decided to use its wings and fly away…
