Let’s not get too caught up in avoiding a bad pun and just call it like it is – this is the type of supercar you need to buy if you’re looking for something truly..special.
If you happen to live in the area, take a ride down to Plano, Texas and visit the Boardwalk Ferrari dealership (where you can also get some Maseratis), in order to check out these two absolutely gorgeous Speciale & Speciale A models.
The white exterior definitely agrees with both models, and so does the red interior – where by the way, you can get a really good view of where all the controls are and what each button does.
If these images alone aren’t enough to get you to fall in love with this car (any of them actually), then maybe you’ll settle down a bit after hearing about their amazing specs.
Both the Speciale and the Speciale A are powered by a naturally aspirated (oh yes) 4.5 liter V8 engine, producing 605 PS at a mind-blowing 9,000 rpm. You also get 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque at around the 6,000 rpm mark.
In a straight line, you’ll hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.0 seconds flat with both of these cars, which is exactly the time you’d need to hit that mark in the new 669 PS turbocharged Ferrari 488 GTB.
That just has to make you think, doesn’t it? Would you go out and buy the 488 GTB or kick it.. naturally aspirated, with the 458 Speciale?
We might safely say that one looks particularly more aggressive than the other.
