We just informed you that the FXX racing program concluded its testing period and now, all the terrifically-awesome Ferrari FXX Ks are set to debut in Budapest, at the Ferrari Racing Days.
Aside of the official report, the Italian car manufacturer did gather four of the most hardcore prancing horses ever created and thrashed them on the legendary Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari – also known as Imola.
The result? A stratospheric concerto of hybridized V12 instruments singing in tandem. Before you even think of playing the video, we highly recommend to turn the volume down, or risk wanting a car like this for eternity. But seriously, even if the savage racket these automobiles make goes straight to your heart, it will still hurt your eardrum.
There are a few solid reasons why the FXX K costs twice as much as a “normal” LaFerrari and the sound is one of them. If you caught glimpse of the V12 F1 era, you’ll understand. In fact, a FXX K will easily outmatch a modern V6 Formula 1 car in terms of resonance.
Knowing the powertrain outputs 1,035 HP and 900Nm (664lb-ft), it does make sense why the engine acts like a beast. Anyway, the time to watch the video has come; and as always, RIP headphone users.
