Mclaren’s entry-level 570S will make its UK debut next to the rest of its line-up in Wilton Classic and Supercar Show on June 6, after the New York Show’s premiere.
It will be the first time that the McLaren’s new three-tier model range will be displayed publicly in the UK. The new 570S is using a 562hp version of Woking’s twin turbo 3.8-litre V8 and costs £143,250. Next to the baby Macca will also be the 675LT, also making its UK debut, representing McLaren’s Super Series models alongside the 650S Spider.
Limited to just 500 units, the 675LT revives the ‘Longtail’ nameplate, with sharper handling, optimised aerodynamics, less weight and more power. The most hardcore Super Series model is capable of 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds, 0-124mph in 9.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 204mph, thanks to the 666hp from its twin turbo V8.
The Ultimate Series will be represented by no other than the McLaren P1 GTR, the track-only 986hp hybrid insanity which the lucky owners will experience through a bespoke driver programme “designed to hone and optimise driving skills and learn how to get the best of themselves and the car.”
