Jeep is interested in creating a pickup truck of sorts, but recent company exec statements have suggested that such a vehicle is not in the pipeline for the near future.
We showed you a Jeep pickup rendering created by Theophilus Chin not so long ago, and now we bring you another of his creations, this time a more believable effort.
We get that you, the readers, don’t like renderings that don’t make sense, but a Grand Cherokee pickup certainly does; at least visually. How hard would it be for Jeep, really, to modify the rear end of the current model?
Perhaps they’re concentrating all of their limited resources to bring the all-new Wrangler to market, but since the pickup sector is so popular in the US, it seems daft to ignore it.
If Mercedes beats them to it, that should raise a few more eyebrows…
