Kahn Design announced their next creation, the WB12 Vengeance by releasing a first teaser image.

The new “British retro classic” will be based on the Aston Martin DB9 but it will feature an all new body made from hammer formed aluminium, using the traditional coachbuilding ways. The new sports car will use the same powertrain with the DB9, which means it will get Aston Martin’s naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 producing 510hp, enough to send the DB9 to 62mph (100km/h) from zero in 4.6 seconds.

What remains to be seen is if Kahn’s new creation will avoid the same fate or not with Fisker’s Thunderbolt Project, which was killed swiftly after the British company filed a lawsuit against him, claiming copyright breach.

Judging by the teaser image, the new Vengeance Coupe’s design looks like it’s taking hues from the Aston Martin Vanquish. Kahn Design will reveal the car next week along with the full details.
