People who drive their cars on the Nurburgring don’t usually do so in the most flamboyant way – everybody keeps to his line and yields to faster cars. However, when the track is wet, some cars just can’t help sliding, and since everybody is extra cautious because of the weather, there is room to pull a few nice long drifts.
The video below shows just such a day, when the track is soaked, and just what people get up to in these conditions. It’s the work of Auto Addiction, a channel that also previously gave us a look at the wide variety of vehicles that get to drive the ‘Ring.
Since drifting is not usually a thing on this track, the video showing (mostly BMW drivers doing) drifting is rather unique. Check it out after the virtual jump!
