Venucia, Dongfeng Nissan’s budget brand for China, will unveil a four-door coupe concept at the Shanghai Auto Show.
The name and specifications of the all-new concept car are unknown at the moment, but the automaker has released three design sketches which show a car whose shape is halfway between a four-door coupe and a coupe-SUV.
The study features a fastback design with crossover styling cues such as the roof rails, the raised ground clearance, bulged wheel arches and short overhangs.
It also sports a horizontal grille on top of an aggressive-looking bumper. At the rear, the concept features Venucia lettering on the bootlid, twin exhausts placed in the middle of the bumper and boomerang shaped taillights. Overall, the study looks too good for a budget brand, which probably means it won’t reach production. However, we’d love to be wrong about this one.
The Venucia brand sells cars based on Nissan platforms in China, including the R30 (Nissan Micra), D50, R50, R50X, T70 and E30 (Leaf).
