A set of flashy alloy wheels left unguarded inside an open trailer on the side of the road is like a honey pot to thieves, but not everything is what it seems…
These two gentlemen in the cell-phone footage fell for the bait set by the police like bats around a fruit tree, picking up all four wheels before the blue-and-white cavalry came in to collect their prize.
We don’t know when and where this incident took place, but “Bait Rims” is not a new practice from police authorities, as you can see for yourself in the second video that shows a report from Fox26 dating back to 2011.
