The all-new 2016 Honda Pilot is offered with an optional accessory package that manages to make the seven-seat SUV look a little sharper.
Honda has released some photos of the 2016 Pilot equipped with the official accessories which are aimed at improving the exterior appearance. The package includes 20-inch black painted alloy wheels, roof rails with crossbars, running boards with lights and illuminated door sill trim.
There are also some accessories offered in chrome, such as the door mirror cover, tailgate trim and front bumper trim. Honda didn’t say anything about interior upgrades.
The 2016 Honda Pilot has debuted at the Chicago Auto Show this year powered by the latest version of the company’s 3.5-liter V6 engine. Base models get a 6-speed automatic, while more expensive ones earn a 9-speed automatic – both replacing the previous 5-speed unit. The new-generation model is also approximately 300 pounds (136 kg) lighter than its predecessor.
