Even though we’re not fans of colorful wheels, this set of polished matte ‘Peek-a-Blue’ ADV05S MV2 CS rims is truly a sight to behold.
As for why we just used the term “Blue Collar” in order to describe the 911 GT3, well it’s because it makes due with what it has, which is precision engineering at its best, while not using as much power as its rivals and frequently losing out in a straight line.
Even though you’re stuck with a 7-speed automatic transmission, this is still one of the most driver-oriented cars you can buy today. Heck, it might still be the very best you can do on the track (RS version included, of course). And even though a manual box can be nice to have, it won’t make you any faster – on the contrary.
We have to admit that when we first glimpsed at these images, we were expecting to hate the blue wheels, but after careful consideration (staring at them for a while), we’re totally on board.
Wheels and colors aside, this 476 HP bad boy will still get you from nothing to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds, and then all the way to a highly illegal 315 km/h (195 mph).
Unless you’re on the Autobahn or the Nurburgring, Monza and other similar tracks with very long straights. But let’s face it, it’s not the straight lines that appeal to you when you’re driving a 911 GT3. You’re just focused on the twisty bits and you know it.
