Do you think it’s blasphemy that the bespoke V10 was ripped out of this Lexus LFA and replaced with a NASCAR-destined V8?
The car is destined for competitive drifting, where it will be raced by four times D1 drift champion Yoichi Imamura.

The new engine note is not bad and it doesn’t clash with the character of the car – they may have retained the resonator exhaust of the road car and that could be the reason it sounds the (brilliant) way that it does.
It also looks like it has a body kit on it, plus the huge wing on the back, and, most importantly it’s got a proper manual gearbox with a clutch pedal!
