It’s a sensational headline but if you saw the video below, we promise you won’t be so mad to know you got (lightly) trolled. That said, we are certainly concerned about the second part of the headline: Jeremy Clarkson is close to his decision to leave BBC and the Top Gear TV program.

There has been overwhelming media coverage and speculation since BBC announced the suspension of Jeremy Clarkson earlier this week. According to reports, Clarkson is suspended over allegedly throwing a punch at Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon. Sources claim the angry outburst started when Clarkson was told there was no hot food available for dinner after a full day of filming.

Regardless of whatever really happened, BBC has cancelled Top Gear Season 22 and has pulled all remaining episodes of the season. At this time, both BBC and Jeremy Clarkson agreed to make no further comments regarding the incident. That said, new reports suggest that Jeremy Clarkson is already contemplating life after Top Gear.

According to RadioTimes, a friend close to Jeremy Clarkson revealed that the relationship between Jeremy Clarkson and the BBC have fallen apart in such a way that a resolution will never be possible. The long marriage has ended. In fact, rumors say Jeremy Clarkson may choose to leave the BBC even if he is cleared of charges and asked to return.

While Jeremy Clarkson is suspended by the BBC, the TV presenter continues to write his column for The Sun newspaper. In Clarkson’s latest article titled “So we lose the tiger… but gain acid-spit snail,” he drops hints regarding the BBC affair with interesting associations to Darwinism and the extinction of dinosaurs.

“I THINK it’s fair to say that nature made a mistake when it invented the dinosaur. It was too big, too violent and with such small and puny arms it was never going to be able to operate heavy machinery or even enjoy a bit of special ‘me’ time.”

“All the dinosaurs died and now, years later, no-one mourns their passing. These big, imposing creatures have no place in a world which has moved on.”

If I had to guess, the “dinosaur in the room” Clarkson is referring to is none other than the Top Gear TV show. As big as the show was at its peak, we all knew that an end was inevitable.

The reality is truly sad and difficult to accept. However, it is still too early to announce that Top Gear is truly over until BBC or Jeremy Clarkson make a formal announcement.

Finally, we end our latest update of the Jeremy Clarkson “Fracas-gate” scandal with a rather melancholy Aston Martin segment that aired during the Top Gear Season 13 episode finale. In many ways, the remarks Clarkson made on the Aston Martin V12 Vantage draws a very close parallel to his current situation as well as the fate of the Top Gear program.
