Dubai’s roster of sporty police cars is undoubtedly becoming a tourist attraction in itself, as people flock to have their picture taken next to them as they gleam in the glass of two year-old skyscrapers. This time they not only went for fast and sporty, but decided that green is a way to go too, so they bought a BMW i8.
Out of all their sports cars, the i8 is probably the best suited for police work, if we’re honest. It’s fast, capable, strong and fairly spacious inside – a shotgun rack can go behind the front seats.
Also, like all their other cars, this one looks really good with the police livery applied to its body. Where they went wrong was in not covering the blue details with the green used throughout; these two colors shouldn’t be seen without another in between and white doesn’t cut it…
