Chris Harris delivers one of the first video reviews of the much anticipated –and my personal Geneva hero– Cayman GT4.
The compact mid-engined Porsche has always lived in the 911’s shadow, in order to keep things simple and in order. But now Porsche has finally spiced-up properly the little Cayman, making the GT4 one of the most eagerly anticipated sports cars of the year.
As Chris Harris explains it on his latest video, the Cayman GT4 is a Cayman with a Carrera S engine, sprinkled with GT3 bits all over it. But the most intriguing part of the recipe sits between the carbon buckets; that’s right, the Cayman GT4 is available with a manual gearbox and only that, and everyone who was moaning about its absence in the 911 GT3 can now place an order for its little brother.
Does it deliver? Head to the video and watch for yourself.
