In case you were waiting for Ford to tell us how much power the new Focus RS makes in Geneva, well, you won’t find that information here (or anywhere, at the moment, because it doesn’t say).
Perhaps Ford too was waiting for Honda to confirm the output of its new Civic Type-R, then mess with the ECU to give its comparable hot hatch a bit more boost to compensate (in case it needed to).
They now say it makes “well in excess of 315 hp.”
Any actual details, we hear you ask? Well, no frankly, and they’ve even rehashed the statements made by company officials; they’re the same ones from the original reveal…
Well, there is one thing: they now also mention the brakes as being Brembos at the front and also “the most powerful RS brake system,” as if that actually meant something; it doesn’t because we have no context.
All that’s left to do here, really, is scroll down to the gallery which contains new driving shots of the RS and a live ones from Ford’s Geneva show stand; we also added a few videos we found showing the car at the motor show (plus an official clip from Ford with no sound).
