AC Schnitzer’s world debut at the Geneva Motor Show is the tuning package for the BMW X6, which includes styling and performance upgrades.
The tuner’s aerodynamic package includes new elements including a front skirt, rear diffuser, AC Schnitzer bonnet vents with optional chrome elements, new carbon mirror covers and rear skirt protective film. The aftermarket specialist says the aero kit not only helps the X6 stand out visually, but also provides more power thanks to the improved air flow.
AC Schnitzer’s X6 rides on alloy wheels up to 23-inch in size, with the AC1 wheels in BiColor Anthracite or matt Anthracite having their premiere in Geneva. The new wheels reinterpret the classic twin-spoke design by adding a masculine style. Inside, changes are limited to the addition of an aluminum pedal set and foot rests, key holder and velour foot mats.
However, with the X6 by AC Schnitzer what counts the most can’t be seen. We’re talking about the consistent performance upgrades offered for the X6 30d, X6 40d, X6 35i and X6 50i. The 30d version is boosted to 309PS, the 40d and 35i get 360PS, while the range-topping 50i receives 525PS – only 50PS less than the BMW X6 M.
AC Schnitzer also offers twin silencers or single silencer, with twin “Racing” tailpipe trims in right/left combination, as well as a suspension spring kit that lowers the car by around 30mm at the front and around 20mm at the rear.
